Green Ribbon for - May is Mental Health Month

Represented by the color green, Mental Health Awareness Month helps educate and increase understanding about mental illness and behavioral health disorders. This year awareness efforts are especially important as recent polls find that Coronavirus is harming the mental health of millions of Americans.

Harford County is joining with community partners locally and nationwide to recognize Mental Health Awareness this May with informative, free online resources for citizens of all ages, including weekly social media posts, suicide prevention training, virtual workshops, and conflict management tools.

Resources will include tips for managing stress, recognizing the signs of depression, coping with grief, parenting, and preventing isolation during social distancing.
